Wine

Handpicked Wines Collection Barossa Valley Grenache is sourced from old bush vines planted in 1975 in the Watunga Road Vineyard at Koonunga in the Barossa Valley.

It is biodynamically grown in typical South Australian Barossa soils of deep red brown loam over clay.

The fruit is hand harvested and partially destemmed. Fermentation occurs in open fermenters with some whole bunch inclusion to add complexity to the flavours.

The wine matures for 10 months in new and seasoned French oak, a small portion of it new.

Deep red, Handpicked Wines Collection Barossa Valley Grenache is rich and juicy with ripe red fruit flavours and soft tannins. Cellaring potential is seven years.
